HED along with CEC Group attended the 2013 Internet of Things Smart Card and RFID Exhibitio

On June 4th – 6th, HED along with China Electronics Corporation (CEC) attended the "2013 Internet of Things Smart Card and RFID Exhibition". During the exhibition, HED showed various products and solutions in the fields of finance, mobile payment, social security, identification, RFID, transport and residents health, attracting great attention of the participants. 


The annual "2013 Internet of Things Smart Card and RFID Exhibition" was held on schedule at Beijing Exhibition Center. HED attended this exhibition together with CEC. HED exhibited various products and solutions including visual financial IC card, enhanced electronic cash card, NFC-SD mobile payment, financial social security card, network eID, residence permit, UHF tag with safe algorithm, Beijing Transport Card, residents health card at the exhibition. The exhibition covers HED’s traditional dominant applications and the breakthrough achieved in new application fields, HED becomes the first enterprise who obtained the "UnionPay card chip product safety certification", which means its safety chip products comply with "UnionPay Card Chip Security Specification" and can meet the high security requirements for financial applications; the contactless chip has already been adopted successfully in the project of Beijing Transport Card, and the bulk supply is realized; HED chips are used in residence permits in Jiangsu, Guangxi ,etc. HED chip which has already been used in projects of residents health in Guangdong, Liaoning etc, was used in the first issued residents health cards.

Rui Xiaowu, the board chairman of CEC, visited the booth himself during the exhibition. He learned the characteristics of various exhibiting products and solutions in details, and give recognition for the achievements reached by the subsidiary.
